When I first came,
I was not feeling the same
Some nervous and some excited glances
It was April, then May, exams, holidays - I unit gone.
June summer
July, August, September, October- II gone.
October, November, December, Exams - III gone.
Now January, February- gone
March now going on
Exams in a week, time less
Enjoy the days but don't make a mess
Study but don't make the brains hot
After that, we'll enjoy a lot.
I didn't even know when the time had gone
but now I know, and I am sad
To leave you alone.
Now again will come-
April, May, and so on...
But my heart will remember these days with you.
written on the Last Day of my VI class.
I wrote this poem for my teachers, to my lovely classroom, and to my first year in the senior school.

No wonder your father is so proud of you ...
June in Oz
:-) :-) awesome...
we should not let schooling spoil the education of our children, whether we realized it or not our children know it well and this is what this poem talks abot not to miss the innocent laughter, the endless freedom that only a child can experience...
goo job here...
your mama should definitely be proud of youe my love:)
stay happy.
Sweet-sad! reminded me of the time I was in school, many many many years ago.
Wow...excellent. Just too good. You have such pure fresh and straight from heart thoughts.
Way to go girl..keep going!!
Love and wishes.
Awww, that is so sweet and so true. I remember those times myself. Nice poem
wow... very nice :)
new pinch.. nice title!
Lovely poem Newpinch :) I really like the way you write, direct, and straight from the heart.
hey,
so u are finally back...
Its been long, missed you.
This poem is cute and it has a very deep lesson. we tend to ignore things and people around us in our race to gain. Its only when we have lost them or are about to that we realize how important they are.
Succeed in life but dont forget those around u. ever.
Lucky teacher to have a student and lucky mother to have a daughter like you.
Well done and keep it up Rasan.
awww lovely lovely poem... took me back to my school time
Study but don't make the brains hot!
I loved this and the way your poem flows and reads so naturally. A lovely young poet with such a feel for words and how they sound.. Keep writing New Pinch. Good luck for senior school!
Took me back to my school days. Lovely poem Rasan! I'm glad you are enjoying and cherishing each part of your school life - these are the best days believe me!
Dear Angel, papa loves you for the purity of your mind. I wonder how you managed to write all this, cute & sweet words with such a maturity. Love u darling
New Pinch this is a sweet poem, and if I were your teacher, I would be so very pleased to read it... :) I still am, because I see the little girl, sorry the growing up girl, her activities, her vision of how she sees her world around her, in school, and the easy lightness of the poem.
I truly liked this one too... :)
very beautiful :)
reminds me of my school days!
keep writing!
Nice one....keep writing!
Cheers,

Keep your pen wet and paper ready for penning down what you feel.

ooh thats really cute...u know my daughter is in class VI will ask her to read this...you are very good with words..keep it up!
Loved the feeling u have in store and the way the poem is built with words, brick-by-brick. Have you read Thomas Hughes' "Tom Brown's Schooldays"? Reminds me of that one.
Very nice!! And the hope of enjoying a lot after studying without making the brains go hot is very motivating ... work hard and then play hard too :)
keep on writing, keep poeming...lovely
thats so heart warming...Its beautiful New Pinch:)
