A Spoiled Games Period

Yesterday was my games period. It was totally spoiled. Let me tell you how.

We girls decided to play Kho-Kho and the boys decided nothing but to spoil our game. So they sent Prabhjot to do it. He just sat in the track. I got angry and angrier. It was my turn to run. Jessica of the opposite team asked me why I was not running fast enough. I said, it doesn’t matter to you, because if I run slowly, it will be easier for you to chase me.

The boys were disturbing our game. So I decided I won’t play because I was filling up with fire of anger. I sat on a bench. I saw two girls named Arpan and Manvi were saying that we would play only in the shade because we will get sun-burnt. I told them it is not your beauty contest tomorrow that you have to be protected from sun. Then all the girls decided that they will not play kho-kho, they will play catch-catch. Both my best friends Ashpreet and Gurjit saw me sitting alone so they decided not to play. Some boys challenged us to catch them. All of us girls caught them and the boys learnt their lesson right.

Still it was a spoiled games period.

Hi Rasan,
Boys, I tell you, are a real pain, always troubling us girls, no? Next time they play you also run away with their ball or bat or all of you sit in their tracks, only when they say sorry you should get up :))

Young lady,

If two girls were saying some thing, I suppose it is safe to assume that you heard them, besides having seen them.

Sorry if I, too, spoilt the fun here, but, you see, I'm still a boy at heart even though I'm more than old enough to be a man!

:D

Hey Rasan,

have been waiting for your post for a long time and am real glad to see it up finally.

As for the boys, make sure you give them a tit for tat lesson next time they play.

But know what, when you grow up you will remember these times with nostalgia so enjoy them while they are there.

Hi Rasan, i read almost all the posts in your blog. You are a highly talented girl. Your posts have intellect, innovation, art and to top it all, humour in them. I just could not control laughing out loudly in my office after reading that the face of one of your Papa's friends looked like Maruti Zen. Keep it up. God bless you.

Rasan Beta, I was waiting for your posting. Its a nice experience with a team, in play ground, where we learn a lot, specially fighting with a cool mind, with sportsmanship spirit, which you inherited from your Papa, and grand Papas- maternal as well as paternal.
Fighting spirit in co-ed, make you stronger, more balanced and cooler with lot of patience.
This is of course, out of my personal experience, my dear!

So go on, play in play ground and compete in studies too, no matter if that day match was not a fun. Even it left for you a good experience of writing it down.
You can say it was a memorable day with a different type of fun for girls.

I saw in you a budding writer.
Keep it up. It gives you a bundle of satisfaction.
A regular visitor to your blog,

Dhindsa

Hey Rasan

Boys are not always 'bad'.

Next time, you offer Prabhjot to play with you all. He will not mind the sun.

And yes, if they continue to disturb, teach them another lesson - tell the class teacher for separate games period.

Keep posting !!
